These terms cover your use of 3D-QR at https://3d-qr.com and its free tools. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Free to use
The tools are free for personal and commercial use. You don’t need an account. There are no usage limits beyond the batch sizes shown in each tool.
What you make is yours
The QR codes, barcodes, images, GIFs, videos and 3D files you create belong to you. You can print, sell, publish and modify them without crediting 3D-QR. We claim no rights in your content and, because the tools run in your browser, we never receive it.
Embedding the animated 3D tool
You may embed animated 3D QR codes made with 3D-QR on your own websites and pages, using the embed code the tool gives you. Embeds are loaded from our site and include a small “Made with 3D-QR” link, which you agree to leave in place. We may change how embeds look or work, and we may stop serving an embed that is used for anything the rules below don’t allow. The design’s settings, including the link in the code, are part of the embed’s address, so don’t put private information in an embedded code.
Rules for using the tools
You agree not to use 3D-QR to make codes or files that:
- lead to phishing pages, fake login or payment pages, or any kind of fraud
- deliver malware or unwanted software
- are placed over or disguised as another organisation’s QR codes, for example on parking meters, chargers or invoices
- impersonate a person, brand or organisation, or use a brand logo to suggest an endorsement that doesn’t exist
- link to content that is illegal where you or the people scanning it live
- infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy
You are responsible for the content you put in a code and for where it leads.
You also agree not to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or try to get around its security.
Brand logos
The animated 3D tool includes brand and platform logos from Simple Icons, and crypto coin symbols. They belong to their owners. Use them only to point to your own page, profile or channel on that platform, and follow the brand’s own guidelines.
Barcodes for retail
The barcode generator draws barcodes for any number you enter. It does not issue barcode numbers. To sell products through retailers you usually need numbers licensed from GS1, and you are responsible for using numbers you have the right to use.
Test before you print
The tools are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We work to make them reliable, but we can’t guarantee that every code will scan on every device, in every size, material or light. Always scan your code with more than one phone before you print or publish it.
The QR code safety checker looks for common warning signs in a link. It cannot prove that a link is safe or unsafe. Treat its result as a second opinion, not a guarantee.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 3D-QR is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or of the codes and files made with it, including printing costs, lost sales or lost data.
The site itself
The text, design, illustrations and code of the 3D-QR website belong to 3D-QR, except for the open-source libraries listed on the about page, which keep their own licenses. Please don’t copy the site’s pages or guides wholesale.
Ads and links to other sites
The site shows ads from Google and links to other sites such as Ko-fi. We don’t control those sites or the products in ads, and their own terms apply. Clicking an ad or a tip link is always optional.
Changes
We may update these terms or change the tools. The current version is always on this page, with its “last updated” date.
Trademarks
QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. Other names and logos belong to their owners.
