Animated 3D QR code maker

Your QR code turns into a little 3D scene, then folds back into a code people can scan. Pick a burger, a snake, a campfire or a brand logo, add a headline, and download a GIF or video.

How to use it

  1. Type the link your QR code should open: your menu, shop, booking page or offer.
  2. Pick a square or round code, then what stands on it. Click a picture again for another flavour or colour.
  3. Add a headline and small print, or start from a template like “Burger Friday”.
  4. Set how long it pauses on the code, add some life like birds or confetti, then download a GIF, an MP4 or a transparent video.

3D-QR (3d-qr.com) is a free animated 3D QR code generator that needs no sign-up or account. You pick a 3D object (like a burger, a campfire or a snake) or upload your own logo. It pops up in 3D, then folds flat into a QR code that scans. You can add a headline and export it as a GIF or MP4 video.

How it works

A small 3D scene made of cubes stands on your QR code. Every cube sits above a dark square of the code, so when the camera looks straight down you see an ordinary QR code that any phone can scan. As the camera tilts, the scene stands up: a burger, a tree, a snake, a campfire. Then it folds back into the code, ready to scan again.

Ideas for your business

Restaurants and cafés: a 🍔, 🍕 or ☕ that opens your menu or ordering page, with your deal as the headline.
Shops: a 🎁 or a sign with your sale, posted to Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp status or a screen in your window.
Creators: your YouTube, Twitch, Spotify or TikTok logo in 3D, linking to your channel.
Events: a ❤️ for a wedding RSVP, 🎃 for a Halloween party, 🎂 for a birthday.

Downloads

The GIF plays almost anywhere, including email and in-store screens. The MP4 is made for Reels, TikTok, Stories and YouTube. The transparent video drops on top of your own footage. Each download shows roughly how big the file will be before you save it. See also the GIF QR code maker, the video QR code generator and the QR code overlay for streams.

Make sure people can scan it

  • Use Time on each view to give people 3 to 5 seconds on the code. The download holds that frame perfectly still.
  • Keep the background light so the dark code stands out.
  • Short links make bigger squares, which scan from further away.
  • For print, use the PNG: QR download. It is a flat, standard code.

Questions

Can I make an animated 3D QR code for free without signing up?

Yes. 3D-QR makes animated 3D QR codes and lets you download them as GIFs or MP4 videos for free, with no account, no email and no watermark.

Does an animated 3D QR code actually scan?

Yes. The 3D object or your logo stands up to catch the eye, then folds flat into a standard, high-contrast QR code. The video holds still on that frame, so any phone camera can scan it.

How do I export a QR code as a GIF or video for Instagram, TikTok or YouTube?

Type your link, pick a 3D object or upload your logo, add a headline, then press Download animated GIF or Video (MP4). The MP4 is sized for Reels, TikTok, Stories and YouTube.

Can I embed it on my website?

Yes. Press Embed on your site, pick a size, and copy the code into your page. It runs live, so the code stays sharp at any size and scans every time it folds flat. It works on most website builders, such as WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace and Notion. Emails and social posts don’t allow embeds, so use the GIF or MP4 there. Uploaded logos stay on your device, so they can’t be embedded.

Can I make a round 3D QR code?

Yes. Set Code shape to Round. Your code sits in the middle of a disc, with a clear ring around it and decorative squares filling the circle. Phones read the square code in the middle and ignore the rest. See the circle 3D QR code page for ideas.

Can I put my own logo on a 3D QR code?

Yes. Open the Your logo tab and upload a PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP. It is built in 3D in its own colors and never leaves your device. Bold, simple logos work best.

Does the animation scan?

Yes, while it shows the code. You choose how long it pauses there, and that frame is held perfectly still.

Which video format do I get?

An MP4 at 720p or 1080p, made in your browser. The transparent version is a WebM with a see-through background, or a ZIP of see-through PNG frames if your browser can’t make that kind of video.

Can I use it for my business?

Yes. That’s what the headline and small print are for. Use it on social media, screens, emails and websites.

Is my link uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is made in your browser.
